Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data MarketMagic (marketmagic.net) processes, for what purposes, and what your rights are, under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law — LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Controller and contact channel

Controller: MarketMagic, a registered Brazilian company — CNPJ 64.454.156/0001-25.
Channel for privacy matters and data subject requests: our contact form (topic “Privacy”).

2. What data we process

• Purchase data: name, email, product purchased, amount, date, payment status and, when the payment method requires it, CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer ID) and billing address.
• Payment data: collected and processed directly by Mercado Pago or PayPal. We receive from them only the confirmation, the method used and, sometimes, the last digits of the card. We do not store the full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and access logs, kept by our hosting provider for security and because the law requires it (Brazil’s Internet Civil Framework — Marco Civil da Internet, Law No. 12,965/2014, art. 15: 6 months).
• Messages: what you write to us through the contact form (name, email, order number and your message). These messages are used only to answer you: they are not published or used for marketing.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

• Processing the order, releasing the download and providing support — performance of a contract (LGPD, art. 7, V).
• Keeping tax and sales records and access logs — compliance with a legal obligation (art. 7, II).
• Preventing fraud and keeping the site secure — legitimate interest (art. 7, IX) and credit protection (art. 7, X).
• Sending news by email — only with your consent (art. 7, I), which you can withdraw at any time through the link in the email itself.

We do not sell your data.

4. Use of artificial intelligence and automated decisions

The store is operated with the help of an automated system using artificial intelligence, which creates the products and organizes orders. This system does not make decisions about you that affect your interests (such as denying a purchase or a refund) without human review. If you wish, you can request a review of any automated decision (LGPD, art. 20).

5. Who we share it with

• Mercado Pago and PayPal — to process payment and prevent fraud. PayPal may process data outside Brazil; international transfers follow art. 33 of the LGPD.
• Hostinger — hosting of the website and the store’s database.
• The email delivery service the store uses to send the download link.
• Authorities, when required by law or by a court order.

6. Cookies

We use only:

• Essential cookies — keep the cart and the checkout session working (for example, woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*). The store does not work without them; that is why they do not require consent.
• Payment cookies — set by Mercado Pago and PayPal during payment, to complete the transaction and prevent fraud.

We currently do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent beforehand.

7. How long we keep it

• Order data and tax documents: for the period required by tax law (generally 5 years).
• Access logs: 6 months (Marco Civil da Internet).
• Email list: until you ask to be removed.

8. Your rights

You may request, at any time (LGPD, art. 18): confirmation that we process your data; access; correction; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. Write to us through the contact form; we reply within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), at gov.br/anpd.

9. Security

The site uses HTTPS, strong passwords and restricted access to the admin panel. No system is 100% secure; if there is an incident that may cause significant risk or harm, we will notify you and the ANPD.

10. Children

The store is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the version in force.
