1. Right of withdrawal (CDC, art. 49)
Brazil’s Consumer Defense Code (CDC) guarantees that anyone who buys outside a physical store — such as online — may cancel within 7 days, counted from the purchase or from receipt of the product. Here we count from the day you receive the download link. All amounts paid are refunded in full.
2. What about digital products?
A downloaded file cannot be “returned” like a box. That is why there is debate about the right of withdrawal for digital products. MarketMagic chose the simplest and safest path for you: we honor the 7 days for digital products too, even if you have already downloaded the file.
When you request a refund, your download link is deactivated and we ask you to delete your copies of the file. We ask for good faith: repeated purchases of the same product followed by refunds may lead us to decline future purchases, always in compliance with the law.
3. After the 7 days
If the product is defective — it does not open, is incomplete, does not do what the page promised, or has an error that gets in the way of using it — you have the product-defect rights of the CDC (arts. 18 and 26: 30 days to complain about a non-durable product). We first try to fix it; if that is not possible, we refund the amount paid.
4. How to request
- Use the contact form (topic “Refund or withdrawal”) with your order number (or the email used for the purchase) and the sentence “I want to cancel”.
- We confirm receipt right away and reply within 5 days (Decree No. 7,962/2013, the Brazilian regulation on e-commerce).
- The chargeback is requested from the payment provider right after confirmation.
5. How you get your money back
- Pix (Mercado Pago): returned to the originating account, usually within 2 business days.
- Credit card: the refund appears on your statement within 1 or 2 billing cycles, depending on the card issuer.
- Boleto: we refund by Pix or bank transfer to an account in the buyer’s name that you indicate.
- PayPal: returned to your PayPal balance or to the card used in PayPal.
We do not charge any fee for refunds.
6. Purchases made on Gumroad
If you bought one of our products through Gumroad (in US dollars, US$), Gumroad is the merchant of record for the transaction, and the refund follows the policy shown on the product page there. Even so, you can write to us and we will help.
